The Strollers have featured on my blog before with the fuzz-fest single from April 1998. “Bring Her Home” is a particularly powerful garage rocker with demented vocals and screeching Farfisa organ.
These songs don’t reach that standard although “Anything Right” is a decent garage beat ballad with double-tracked vocals, steady drum beat and casual vocals.
Two tracks on the flip, “I’m Through” and “Evening Star”, move in a similar pedestrian vein, showing the softer side of these Swedish beat punks. But I suppose I prefer their more violent and nasty earlier recordings.
