The Monkees also recorded this gem for their album ”The Birds, The Bees & The Monkees” Micky Dolenz handles lead vocals. Greatness.
Not exactly inspired to anything by “Alice Long” by Tommy Boyce and Bobby Hart (A&M 729), but they do try hard. (Record Mirror, 20/07/68)
