Still loud, still proud Page blusters away – or as he’s chosen to pronounce it here, ‘Awaaaaiiiiy’ – building a noise like a cacophonous Monkees. It’s difficult to knock someone who’s so obviously doing what he feels he must do. Like criticising a bloke being an electrician.
Secret Affair must have pages of replies ready to answer critics of their headstrong path but nobody even wants to ask them anymore. Good luck t’yer boys I say! I wonder what Errol did with his old Parka? (NME, 30/01/82)
